Postmodernism and Miasma

This is a brilliant article by Kenaz Filan over at PolytheismUncucked. It’s the culmination of several days worth of conversation on the predation of cultural marxism, modernity, and monotheism (#evilms) on our communities and their religious awareness.

I think this is a really important piece. go and read.

Disgust is an instinct which saves us from eating contaminated foods and poisons.  We feel a sense of revulsion upon seeing vomit, rotten meat, excrement — all things which would sicken and kill us should we consume them.  As Daniel Kelly, author of Yuck! The Nature and Moral Significance of Disgust says:

You have this quick, reflex-like tendency to move away from whatever you find disgusting. You might not actually move, but you’ll have this flash of motivation to jerk away from it. Some of the really interesting things about disgust are the more psychological components of it. When you’re disgusted by something, it captures your attention. It seems offensive and tainted in some way, and we think about disgusting things as though they have the ability to contaminate other things. So, if something we find disgusting touches another object, that object becomes disgusting as well. We track where the…

  1. Hello! I ‘ve recently starfted reading your blog and following this thread with particular interests. Thank you for your work and writing. The ideas put forth are concurrent with some observations I’ve been noticing and thinking about as of late. After reading the Kenaz Filan article you linked you, I was reminded of the tales of the early Christian hermits who sought to mortify the flesh by wallowing in filth, wearing hair shirts, ect., and the general shift in post-medieval European modes of living towards a general cultural tolerance of filth (especially compared with the importance and accessibility of bathing enjoyed by the ancient Romans, Greeks, Celts, ect.),

It seems to me that the modern malaise exemplified by the 3 evil M’s, as you put it, is in a way a sort of debased secular Gnosticism (I use this term in the Catholic defined sense, as I understand it, of a sort of mind-body split that regards the body and the material world as wholly evil). We are dealing with people who have no concept of the sacred in the flesh, who may live much of their lives online, in a constant flow of poisonous ideas and ideals with no basis in the reality of the body and the natural world (the extreme promotion of transgenderism and other pansexual oddities, unrealistic conceptions of social justice, twisted utopias free from pain, choice or fear). Anything requiring judgement, action or effort can be rationalized away, within the mind, any ugliness can likewise be justified, if one is so cut off from the realities of the flesh and the world. I see this rationalizing without knowlegde, jugement based in experience or conception of the truth to be incredibly dangerous as an ideaology, and it is everywhere.

A caveat: I understand that there are shamanic traditions of “two-spirited” people and a variance in gender expressions in polytheistic societies, and I don’t really have a problem with that. However, the current promotion of alternative gender identities as a social norm quite obviously lacks the spiritual dimension expressed in those folkways, and seems to have aims that have nothing to do with shamanism, to put it mildly.

    • What you are describing is called “Transtrending”. This is a word is coined by a YouTuber named Prince of Queens and he has released a good video explaining the difference between actual Transgenderism (Gender Dysphoria is the clinical term) and what he calls Transtrending which is pretending to be Trans because it’s “Cool”.

My belief is the promotion of Transtrending is Cultural Marxism invading the LGBT Community and manipulating it for their own aims and once it’s used up, it will be eliminated. When the SJWs become irrelevant, the gulf between the LGBT Community and the Straight Community will probably be set back to the pre-Stonewall era.
