New prayer card

I’m absolutely in love with the newest prayer card. (I’ve actually received two prayer cards this week and love them both, but one you’ll have to wait until my newsletter to preview 😉 It’s free. You can register at the ‘follow’ tab above). The one here is an image of Apollo by Lynn Perkins. Check it out — it’ll be available for sale later this week.

  2. I love Him deeply and -should I say – painfully. His Presence is so strong that I can barely stand it, I tremble in front of Him and fear Him. Confusing as it may seem I long for Him, too. Yes, I see Him very similar to this aspect, blond hair and young and powerful. And I have had the priviledge to hear Him play the lyre and sing… I have no words to express the Beauty of His Voice -so manly!- and the Gentleness of His Music.
Hail Apollon! May You ever be Hailed!

    • He is a God Who frightens me, because He overwhelms my senses like Odin overwhelms (and yet differently); yet I have come to love Him dearly.

      • Hello Galina, I thought it was some fault on my part… lack of preparation or appropiate rites… as it does not happen to me with the Norse Gods…
Appart from this, may I ask for help: please say a prayer for me, I fear I am at risk, I am being threatened and I can´t find a good lawyer to help us (my mother and I). I´ve found an old Hermes Kriophoros statue my mother bought in Rome some 50 years ago… He is the God of Lawyers, isn´t He? Do you have a special prayer for Him? A short one, like a mantra, it may be useful.
        Thank you

  3. Vanesa, no fault there at all! Religious Studies historian Rudolf Otto wrote of the numens at fascinans, the raw power of a God that induces awe…Apollo definitely carries taht to the fullest.

and yes, I will pray for you, absolutely. shoot me an email offline and I will see what I have for Hermes.
