So much religious iconography has been destroyed, or defaced in the course of human history. I am passionate about making available to the various modern polytheistic communities access to religious iconography and prayers of their Gods and Goddesses in support of those who are building their religious communities, building their devotional practices, and hungering for art that represents their religious faith.
SPECIFICS ABOUT EACH CARD:
- Each card is double sided: image on one side, a prayer to that specific figure on the other
- All images and prayers are used legally and with appropriate permissions
- Each card measures 2.5 inches by 4 inches tall
In addition to individual cards for sale, I also have the following sets available at the shop too:
- Frigga and Her Retinue
- Nine Muses (ten cards, includes Mnemosyne, Mother of the Muses)
- Norse Healing Retinue
- Ceres, Libera, Father Liber set
- Norse Sea Deities
- Mothers Set (available as a set by itself, or with the novena book)
- the Olympians
There are over 300 different prayer cards in this passion project. Below is a historical snapshot, but to see all the offerings currently available please see my etsy site for a full, updated list.
SPONSOR A CARD:
If you would like to contribute to the sponsorship of a card in whole or in part as an offering to a particular Deity, that would be most welcome. On occasion an artist may gift an image in donation, but the overwhelming majority of these images are commissioned and the artist receives monetary compensation for their work. I believe if we are to have religious iconography and grow our religious communities, this will not happen unless we support the artisans within our community. Feel free to contact me if you would like to help. Sponsors receive recognition on the card as a sponsor, and ten free cards of the Deity they sponsored. There are so many of our Gods for Whom we don’t have any extant devotional images. I really want to keep this project going as long as I possibly can, and for that, I’m turning to you. 🙂

Tip: If you’re starting to amass a collection of the prayer cards and would like something to store them in when not in use or on specific display, try looking into religious stores and suppliers that carry Christian Prayer Cards. You can find Prayer Card Album holders, and vinyl protector sheets that will fit these cards at these outlets. You can also check with sports memorabilia, card gaming and comic shops for alternative storage solutions. Please note there are a variety of sizes out there for cards in general, and prayer cards in particular. The prayer cards generally on this page measure at 2.5 inches wide by 4 inches tall.
Are you going to turn these into pantheon decks? -E-
LikeLiked by 1 person
no, they’re prayer cards. no intention of turning them into decks.

To be clear, by decks I only meant collections, not divination or play decks. But I’m fine with the answer regardless. -E-

Nice artwork. You say they are prayer cards. Is there text of a prayer on the back of each one?
