First Recording from the NY Regional Diviners’ Conference is Available

Thanks to the hard work of Sarenth Odinsson, we have several recordings from November’s NY Regional Diviners Conference available. Over the next few weeks, they’ll be uploaded and made available on youtube.

The first, the introduction to the conference, is already up and those of you who are interested, may view it here:

Literary Matters

The inaugural issue of “Walking the Worlds” is quite close to being ready and I am very, very excited about it. It’s an amazing issue with some truly remarkable pieces, including articles by P.S.V.L, Edward Butler, Rev. Tamara Siuda, Beth Lynch, Jason  Pitzl-Waters and more.  I’ll post here when it’s available but in the meantime, check out the journal site. Once the prep work is completely done and we’re waiting for our proof, I’ll contact those contributors contributors whose articles have been accepted so we can get you the monies. ^_^  For those whose work wasn’t quite suitable for this issue, please don’t be discouraged but check out our upcoming themes and try again.

In the meantime, we are also prepping an anthology of articles based on the presentations given at the recent NY Regional Diviners’ Conference. I’ve already received some great contributions and we are hoping to have that out in the spring.

So stay tuned, folks. There’s lots of neat stuff happening and as my Thracian colleague often intones, it’s a damned fine time to be a Polytheist.

NYRDCON half way done and going well

We’re half way through NYRDCON and the conference is going extremely well. We have a really good turn out — better than I expected given that we had a snowstorm a few days ago–and the presentations have been awesome. We have folks attending from all over NY, but also NH, MA, DC, and MI.

It’s a jam packed schedule (we’re going from 8:30am – 8:30pm) and it’s really good to see so many community diviners, from so many branches of polytheism, coming together to share their knowledge. It’s moments like this that I realize what a rich and dedicated community we truly have.

NY Regional Diviners’ Conference

Don’t forget, folks, the NY Regional Diviners’ conference is fast approaching. This is an all-day conference held in Fishkill, NY on November 29. Registration is $15 (which can be paid at the door or preferably paypaled to tamyris at We’ve an amazing line-up of speakers. check it out here.

Born out of the Polytheist Leadership Conference in July 2014, this is a small, specialized conference for diviners and those seeking to learn more about divination. It’s going to be a full day of workshops and panels by some of the best in the field.
